If you haven’t read The Eve of Man, you could pick up The Eve Illusion and get sucked into the narrative with little confusion. Which is perfect, because Giovanna and Tom Fletcher are masters at seamlessly setting up a sequel without wasting space or time rehashing information. The classy yellow and black motif on The Eve Illusion’s cover gives nothing away as to the action and intrigue inside, though would be a beauty for any library shelf.īook two picks up right after the cliff-hanger where book one left off.
